Robert C. Shuman, M.D. - Medical Director
Dr. Shuman is board certified by the American Board of Bariatric Medicine and has more than 40 years of medical and nutrition experience.  Dr. Shuman is also a Board Certified Anesthesiologist (retired), an FAA Certified Aviation Medical Examiner and is one of the few physicians in Georgia skilled in Prolotherapy. Prolotherapy provides relief for chronic pain without surgery or the use of steroids or narcotics. He is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physician's and has pledged to follow the Guidelines of the ASBP.  As a member of the American Cosmetic Cellular Medicine Association, Dr. Shuman collaborates with scientists, physicians and health care professionals to discover and become expert at the best uses of cell biology to improve health and beauty. He has a passion for sharing the message of good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle and the role they play in not only losing weight, but also in preventing disease and living a longer and healthier life.
Judy Shuman, RN - Wellness / Weight Loss Coach & Aesthetic RN 

Judy has made patient education the focus of her nursing career.  Working side by side with Dr. Shuman at Physician's Choice since its' inception, Judy brings years of nursing and patient education experience to the Physician's Choice Care Team.  She has advanced training in weight loss; adult, child and prenatal nutrition; diabetes education; child and adolescent obesity, behavior modification and Botox® Cosmetic and Dermal Fillers.  Most recently she completed advanced training and certification for the Vampire™ Facelift Procedure. Clients can now enjoy the benefits of facial rejuvenation using growth factors obtained from their own blood plasma.  Judy is dedicated to making certain that every client achieves their weight loss, health and beauty goals.

Jack - Therapy Dog  Animals can play an important role in the overall health and well being of the "people" in their lives.  It's no secret that a friendly dog can make you forget for the moment the stresses of the day.  Studies have shown that human-pet interaction lowers heart rate and blood pressure.  Jack is a 7˝ year old AKG Registered Golden Retriever and Trained Therapy Dog.  His "job" at Physician's Choice is to greet clients and offer his unconditional acceptance and love.  Jack works his magic with clients every day with his sensitive loving personality combined with a bit of comedy if needed.  If a client is not comfortable with Jack, he is content to take a nap away from clients.  Jack's friendly, calm behavior makes him a client favorite.
